Eclectic Norwegian experimental pop band Mall Girl have dropped their latest single, ‘All I Should Have Said’. The trio show off their genre-bending versatility with this tune; jazz-flecked drums underpin guitars with a math-rock edge, while Bethany Foresth-Reichberg’s voice is poised and honest at the top of the mix. The band say: “Have you ever felt like you should pour your heart out to someone? Strip open your soul, tell your darkest secrets and just say it all. Just shout “I REALLY, REALLY LIKE YOU” and get it out of your system? But you end up saying; nothing? It’s relatable and it’s this song in a nutshell.” This is the first taste of new music from Mall Girl since their acclaimed debut album Superstar. Their second album drops in 2024. -Dan Peeke
